I’m back… with a new frock!

I’m back… with a new frock!

It’s been a little while, well a long while and soon I can explain where been, but we shall save that for another day!

Any way I simply must show you this Dress I purchased from a company via their face book page Curv’i’licious

Isn’t it fabulous?!

I paid approximately £30 with postage and could have returned it if it it was unsuitable.  I chatted to the owner and she was super helpful even with all my questions! I have a particular material I avoid, I hate pleats at the waist, and the list goes on!

This cold shoulder dress has a beautiful bright pattern which I adore! I am wearing a size 22 and felt extremely comfortable!

I’ve teemed it with bright pink strappy sandals from New Look which were £11 in the sale and are available Here.

I also managed to find a handbag in the exact same colour at a charity shop for £3.

As you can tell, I’ve also had a tan! Well a spray tan! I had an express tan at La Mia Bella at a bargain cost of £12 and if your local to Rhonda Cynon Taff you can visit the salon Here.

Overall I felt great about my outfit and had a fabulous night out! I won’t lie- my feet are still crying from those shoes so maybe a little gel pad would help out next time!

Match day

Match day

In Cardiff ‘match day’ is huge.

Match day is when there is a rugby or football game at one of our city centre stadiums.

I am lucky enough to get tickets for rugby matches with my beloved now and again, even though I may not understand all that happens!

For me, the best matches are rugby matches in the millennium stadium, the jewel in Cardiff’s crown.

Here is how I get ready:

Getting my daff on!

The best part of the day is the atmosphere. There is something about Cardiff on match day. Roads are closed off and there are thousands of people in their team colours, faces painted and flags around their necks!

The magical moment is being in the millennium stadium hearing the welsh national anthem being sung by the crowd- spell binding.

I am no expert, and I may be focussing on the wrong things, but there is no denying that ‘match day’ is fantastic!

This week has sucked the life out of me.

This week has sucked the life out of me.

this week I have been all over the country! I have missed reading everyone’s blogs so much!

I spent hours stuck on the M25 in almost 40’c heat! Impossible!

I had the air con on constantly to keep me cool- driving almost 1000 miles in three days is not easy. However, there are after effects of air con for me.

I wear contact lenses and find that any time of air conditioning dries my eyes out. Roll on to Friday and my left eye is completely swollen, very dry and sore and I couldn’t put a contact lens in if I tried! (And I have. So many times. My eye ball feels like it’s on fire.)

I have also been training my new team member, and that’s exhausting. I am used to travelling by myself and i have my own quirky ways of doing things. I have also realised that other then when I am at a meeting, I am mostly in my own company while I am away.

At a meeting today I was the subject of what was basically a witch hunt. It was terrible. No one could believe what was going on and I had to stop it. I spent the six hours driving home extremely upset, again exhausting.

Luckily for me the beloved seems to have turned over a new leaf, and has cleaned the house! It is so nice to come home to a clean house after a week away- makes a big difference!

I’m determined to have fun tomorrow starting with the gym at 9am!

I also plan to not having such an exhausting week ever again!

What have you been up to?
