I’m back… with a new frock!

I’m back… with a new frock!

It’s been a little while, well a long while and soon I can explain where been, but we shall save that for another day!

Any way I simply must show you this Dress I purchased from a company via their face book page Curv’i’licious

Isn’t it fabulous?!

I paid approximately £30 with postage and could have returned it if it it was unsuitable.  I chatted to the owner and she was super helpful even with all my questions! I have a particular material I avoid, I hate pleats at the waist, and the list goes on!

This cold shoulder dress has a beautiful bright pattern which I adore! I am wearing a size 22 and felt extremely comfortable!

I’ve teemed it with bright pink strappy sandals from New Look which were £11 in the sale and are available Here.

I also managed to find a handbag in the exact same colour at a charity shop for £3.

As you can tell, I’ve also had a tan! Well a spray tan! I had an express tan at La Mia Bella at a bargain cost of £12 and if your local to Rhonda Cynon Taff you can visit the salon Here.

Overall I felt great about my outfit and had a fabulous night out! I won’t lie- my feet are still crying from those shoes so maybe a little gel pad would help out next time!

Charity shop chic- April

As you all know, I loves me a bargain!

I got this gorgeous jacket and bag this week during my charity shop rummage!

Jacket- Ann Harvey £4.50

Good quality, a little on the big side but great to wear instead of a coat!

Bag- Storm £5

  Stunning olive colour, fabulous quality.

I struggle with what to wear on my days off so this was perfect! I wore it with  black trousers, black best top, tan flats and a neutra scarf.

I was going out for a family lunch and felt smart but not too over dressed!

Tell me about the bargains you have bagged!

I love a bargain. I am instantly drawn to a sale sign. If there’s discount off an item, it’s mine!

This is why I love charity shops! In a way, it’s probably quite perfect that I work in charity retail!

This afternoon, I took half a day off to treat my best mate to a girly afternoon as she was child free!

We hardly ever get some time when it’s just the two of us, and we knew exactly what we wanted to do – lunch and bargain hunt!

We had a lovely lunch at a little pub in Caerphilly at the side of the river in the glorious sunshine! Perfect.

Then off we went looking for bargains!

Top – Marks & Spencer’s £1.99

Shoes- Lily & Skinner (new soles from timpsons) £5.99

Photo album- brand new! Paperchase £2

I bought some skinny blue jeans (adventurous for me!) so this top will look great with them! I love the detail on the neck line!

The shoes are exactly what I have been looking for! I will wear them until they fall apart!

As for the photo album- bargain of the day! I am a hoarder as I have previously admitted. I keep tickets, letters, invites, cards etc. Photo albums and perfect for all my special ‘things’ like this! I love flicking through and remembering All the good times!

Any one else have any charity shop bargains?
